What is a cymatics/sound tattoo?
Cymatics, the study of visible sound and vibration.

Jehan creates a sound frequency in Ableton Live and runs it through a self-built cymatics setup, where the vibrations form a unique geometric pattern in water. That pattern becomes the foundation of the tattoo, which is then refined into a finished design using botanical elements, ornamental blackwork, and symbolic imagery to create a piece that is both scientifically inspired and artistically intentional.

Sound moves matter, literally. And frequency matters because it's the layer beneath everything visible. Sound, light, matter, even thought. All of it is vibration first, shape second. Your heartbeat, your brainwaves, your cells, they all run on frequency. So the frequency something carries isn't decoration. It's the thing itself, before it took shape.
A cymatics tattoo can be created with a specified frequency, it can also be built from something meaningful: a voice memo, a piece of music, a heart beat. The tattoo isn't just visually unique, it's traceable back to a specific moment that existed as a vibration first, then to become visible through the process of cymatics.

Existing pieces: created from specific source (solfeggio) frequencies that encourage specific energetic and healing states.
Custom: a voice memo, a piece of music, a recorded heart beat that can be used to create a pattern. This requires a much more involved and layered process, therefore will include a separate creation fee.
Tattoo for 528hz: For this project, I worked with the 528hz cymatic pattern, which I applied to the Turkish coffee cup. This frequency is associated with parasympathetic activation, attentional stabilization, cellular repair, and reducing cortisol levels.
432hz cymatics pattern: The frequency of unity, love, inner alignment. These are all available designs to be tattooed.
